women's developmentApart from tailored development for individuals, we also offer the award-winning Springboard Women's Development Programme to enable women to reach their full potential. This is done by facilitating women to analyse their skills, values and qualities so that they can set goals for themselves and go on to achieve them. This in turn can enhance self confidence and self esteem.

Springboard motivates participants to take responsibility, develop careers and generally be more effective.

The Springboard programme consists of four one-day workshops spread over three months combined with a 300-page workbook. Role-model speakers and networking are also important elements of the programme. Springboard courses can be run in-house with between 12 and 80 women at a time, so can be a very cost-effective way of developing individuals.

What are the benefits of the Springboard Women’s Programme?

The Springboard Consultancy recently published a survey entitled Personal Development Has Legs, which included feedback from Springboard participants over a 10-year period and found the following key findings:

  • 82.5% of respondents stated that the programme had a positive impact on their ability to set goals
  • 80.5% of respondents reported greater self-esteem and confidence since the programme
  • 79% of respondents stated that since the programme they were better at managing change
  • 78% had taken more responsibility since completing the programme
  • 77.5% reported they had greater assertiveness
  • 71% of respondents had greater motivation at work
  • 68% had better work-life balance
  • 64.5% of respondents had received favourable comments in their formal appraisal at work since completing the programme

Why should Freshwater Consulting should run your Springboard Course.

As Chartered Occupational Psychologists we have a broad knowledge of the theory behind much of the course content and use this knowledge on a day to day basis (and not just when offering Women’s Development Training).
